Peak Power: 100 watts. Frequency Response: 19 to 32000Hz. Distortion: Less than 0.4% at full rated output. Channel Separation: Better than 50dB. Input Sensitivity:  (for full rated output) Aux, Tuner, MPX: 230mV. Tape: 2.2mV Phono: 3.2mV. Phono Equalization: RIAA. - We are in the 50's and MPX-stereo is not yet the only method to receive stereo-broadcastings. The Fisher 800 is capable of producing stereo by different ways, using two separat-received sources provided by the radiostations. FM-FM Stereo: Left channel is received by FM-tuner, right channel received by external 2nd FM-tuner. FM-AM Stereo: Left channel received by FM-tuner, right channel received by AM-tuner. A multiplex adaptor is optional - such as the FISHER Model MPX-10 " is required to receive multiplex broadcasts -  a new type of stereophonic transmission that broadcasts two channels over a single station"
